Greetings Everyone,
Today we went to the SOS
International Medical Clinic where
Lia had her INS(immigration) exam
in order that she may leave the
country and enter the U.S.A.  The
doctor was wonderful.  We got to
talking and he is from Cape Town,
South Africa and didn't make Lia cry
once.  We liked him a lot.  Lia was
the entertainment in the waiting
room making smiley faces and coos
at the other patients that were
waiting.  Wil and I also met another
family who have adopted a beautiful
little girl named Grace.  Grace's dad
noticed Wil's Jaguar shirt and of
course male bonding over football
was born - he is a Colt's fan being
from Indiana!  They are heading
home on Friday, so keep them in
your prayers for a safe journey
home.  We then went to the notary to
give Yelena, Natasha's mom, power
of attorney so that our papers can be
notarized in Astana for our return
home.  Lia was a champ out and
about and had another wonderful day
playing/bonding/eating/pooping/sleepi
ng.  And Ty, for the record, I have
stuck my hand in her poop last night
as I told you and tonight I got peed
on as I took her diaper off to put her
in the bath!  We are even :oP
Wil and I just put her down for bed
and it was a bit of a show - noisy and
loud b/c she was none too pleased
being put in the crib.  So, for a few
minutes we listened to the wailing
and now we are afraid of the
silence...did she bump her head, did
she go to sleep, did she climb out of
the crib and take the car for a
spin...typical parent woes, right!  Any
suggestions or getting little ones to
bed, PLEASE post....we would enjoy
reading the suggestions and to know
we are not the first to go through this
ordeal.

So, on that note we will say good
night and stay tuned for another
journey tomorrow...only 9 days left.
Tomorrow will be our first visit to the
zoo as a family so the pics should be
good!  We also have our appointment
at the U.S. Embassy to get her Visa
July 6 Entry
ME, Pick ME!!!
I do think that she will be ready for
the pool when she gets home!  We
were a bit nervous that she would not
like the bath but our doubts were
shattered!  Can you tell!
Wil has been waiting to do this to his
kids...Fuzzy(Bill) used to do the towel
shake to Jes and Wil when they got
out of the tub.  Well, traditions get
passed down and Daddy Wil is doing
a great job.  She loves it...makes her
giggle.
For those of you that
really know Wil, he
loves TAPE.  We had
duct tape mailed to us
in our care package.
Here is Daddy Wil
with his favorite girl
and another favorite,
Duct Tape.  If ou saw
the pics yesterday, you
saw the toy box he
made out of the a
cardboard box and
DUCT Tape.  He has
also used it very
wisely to cover the
electric outlets!  He is
such a good Daddy!
P.S.  I am also posting a pic of the
house where a monster lives.
Anyone who doesn't like poddy talk
read no further...I was on tinkler
when my husband decides to tell me
that there was a HUGE, BULBOUS
SPIDER in the hole behind the
toilette...while I am sitting on it!!!!!!
Well, unbenounced to me there was
a loose string on my shirt that at that
very time decided to attack my back
and I FREAKED OUT.  Needless to
say, I am not to happy about going in
there anytime soon!  Give me
snakes but keep the spiders!!!!!!
