LIA LEFT THE BABY HOUSE TODAY!!!
10 Days Until We Come Home!!!
daughter! Today we got Lia's passport which meant she got to leave the Baby
House FOR GOOD!!! What a day! All I can say is that I cannot stop praying
today and all I say in my prayers is "THANK YOU!" Today has been everything
we wanted and more!! She is sitting next to me right now (fighting the sleep
off) as I write this!!
Earlier today we were told that we would not get the passport until later today
so we would go for our normal visit, get the passport after lunch, and come
back to meet with the director, sign some paperwork and take her home. We
were excited to bring her home, but a little bummed that we had to do another
visit. Well the visit started fine and then around 11:00 we saw Natasha come
around the corner, when we asked what she was doing she told us to come on
and meet with the director because we have the passport!! The visit was cut
short and our full time parenting job had arrived!! We meet with the director,
signed some paperwork, and before we knew it we were on our way back the
apartment with LIA!! OUR LIA!!
Today has been a day of firsts!!! We are truly FAMILY NOW!! I'd write more
but we are trying to figure out how to get Lia to go to bed! Take a moment to
