July 14th Entry

Well folks, this is it, OUR LAST ENTRY HERE IN ALMATY!!  Today is our
last full day in Almaty before we board the plane to come home tomorrow
at 10am.  What a time we have had.  To remember the first day here filled
with confusion, exhaustion, disappointment, and elation to the last day
being today we can't help but smile because sitting next to us right now is
little Donna Malia Victoria Lynott.

Part of us will be very sad to leave Kazakhstan.  We are very impressed
with the local people and the pride they take in everything they do.  To
date we have had nothing but a good time and the people have been
nothing other than wonderful to us.  Part of us is very nervous about the
plane ride home.  Nothing like a 10 hour internal clock time shift, 21
hours in the air, an overnight stay in NJ with all of us sleeping in one bed
before we touch down at JIA at 6:10pm Saturday local time.  The last part
of us cannot wait to get home!  We cannot wait to hug our family and
friends, to introduce the world to Lia, to see our animals, to sleep in our
bed, and to hear other people speak english :)

For those of you who have followed along with our journey we thank you.
Thank you for the emails, phone calls, guest book signings, the well
wishes, and mostly the prayers.  This journey is truly a miracle on earth
that was made possible by our lord and savior Jesus Christ.  We truly
believe we could not have done this without our faith and our Father.  To
think we have lived in Central Asia for two months, met and adopted our
daughter, and we are getting ready to come home to family and friends,
what an amazing journey and what a blessing.

Do not think this is the last posting.  We plan to update the site this
weekend when we get home to share with everyone our stories of travel
and homecoming.  We will talk to you soon!  Thank you all and thank the
Lord!!

We are not home free yet, but we are closer than we have ever been!!

Love,
Wil, Lisa, and Lia

P.S.(Some side note items)
Today for what ever reason the temperature never reached over 75 degrees!!
What a reprieve and what a little present!!  Lia today went Tee-Tee and
Poo-Poo in the toilet for the 1st time with us!!    We also tested the Benadryl
Ms. Lia will be enjoying on the plane ride home only to find the
recommended dosage had NO EFFECT ON HER WHAT SO EVER!!!!
WHOOPS!!  We are also realizing that Lia loves the positive feedback of
clapping.  Over the last week we have been working with Lia to not throw her
Tippee cup when she is done with it, rather giving it to one of us or putting
on the ground.  Today we realized that Lia will pick up her Tippee only to
put it down and clap and look at us waiting for us to clap too!!  Adorable!!
