June 8 Entry Man, do I have these two nutballs wrapped around my finger .... my plan is working!!!!!!  For anyone who watches The Family Guy, meet Stewie's twin sister separated at birth :oP.

Here's our princess digging the swing thing... she loves to swing and this will be a must have at the house we have learned....again, she truly has us whipped..

We keep trying to get pictures of Lia waving which she has learned to do since our arrival - at least we would like to think we have taught her how to wave.  She is great at mirroring your actions as long as she thinks that it was her idea.  After about two rounds of getting her to play along, she is off to something new and exciting b/c she will not sit still for long...she has her sea legs and is ready for action.  This is the type of stroller they use here and she loves it vs the conventional brella stroller.  This will be an interesting adjustment when we have to switch her over to a brella stroller for the trip home...Pray for us...SERIOUSLY :o)

Ok, Mom shows her to sniff it and she does try and makes the screw face you see below.  Not sure if she has had issues w/ daisies in her short history, but it is a funny sight to see her try to sniff and then compute what it is all about...such a serious mug shot is this photo.

Today was a day of strolling and nature hikes on the property.  We talked w/ the other couple who is here from Arizona and we swapped stories on how to deal w/ the crying jags and language barriers.   We have stopped calling her Vica and call her Lia only.  We are also trying to only use English to help w/ the transition so that she understands our praise and encouragement when we play w/ her during our visits.

Here is the nature trail we walk along and here is the monkey concentrating with all her might.  Oh, tomorrow we will show you pictures of Daddy teaching her to climb the stairs!  SHE LOVES IT!   What can we say, she is a cheap date!   The little things amuse and entertain her.

COURT DATE UPDATE - For all of you who were paying attention to our previous postings where we mentioned our 1st court date was 6/7...... CONGRATULATIONS, you passed the test and the check is in the  mail.  Actually there have been some changes (go figure) and now we only have 1 court date and that was moved to Monday 6/13.  This does not effect our travel dates at this time.  Keep the prayers coming and thank you for paying attention!!!!
