June 30 Entry 15 days and counting!! Happy Thursday All!!  The last day of June, can you believe it??  Man, we have been here 5 and a half weeks and we are just a couple of hours away from leaving in exactly 2 weeks!!  Wow!  Today we found out that we get Lia's passport on Monday and that means we can take her from the Baby House for good on Tuesday!!  That is right, in a little over 5 days we will have Lia with us FOR GOOD!!   This morning as we approached the Baby House we saw the children playing already in their outdoor play areas.  As we approached the 2nd play area we saw a little angel dressed in strawberries stop what she was doing, walk to the gate, stand on her tippie-toes, and yell at us to get our attention.  This was not a playful yell, this was a yell to say "I AM OVER HERE, DON'T WALK PAST ME!'  It was adorable, she was waiting for us and called to us!  As we walked over she smiled ear to ear and giggled as Lisa picked her up for our visit.   Today's visit was good.  I don't want to say Lisa and I don't obey the Baby House rooms anymore, but we are bending them a bit as we near the end.  Lia probably has more cookies and varieties of cookies than they want and we lay blankets down and let her  lay on them and play with us.  Today we introduced Lia to those teething cookies that Muzzy sent in our care package.  She loved it and ate them while we sat on a blanket in the wooden area of the Baby House.  After the cookies it was time to play with her blocks.  Those darn Peek-a-Blocks are amazing!  They are the only thing that has kept Lia's attention longer than 10 minutes.  She will run after them, stack them, knock them over, and yell with delight with them. It stinks turning her in at the end of the visit.  It makes it even more frustrating when the care takers call her Vica out of habit.  Only 5 more days for us to go the Baby House, only 5 more days of the name Vica, only 5 more days PERIOD!!  Can't stand it!!!
