Greetings All,
Today we did not get to see Lia but for about a 1/h hour due to a dedication ceremony and
party they were having at the babyhouse. In the past several days, new playground
equipment, gazebos, and sandboxes have been put together on the grounds and today was
the day to celebrate those companies that made contributions to the BH and made it all
possible. We got to spend about 5 minutes w/ Lia then she was off w/ her playgroup to
enjoy clowns and the rest of the festivities planned for the morning. We did not want to
intrude so we headed down to the park to soak up some sights and have some time out in
Almaty together. It was a gorgeous day so we enjoyed it but did not get any new pictures
so the ones below are from previous days that we thought we would share w/ you today.
Believe it or not, Wil has archived over 1000 pictures and videos, but we can only share so
many on the site due to space and time constraints. Hope everyone is having a great
week, and please post Birthday wishes to Wil on Friday...he's a whopping 28 on the 17th!
advised us that the GoldMan was found in one of the burial mounds near Lake Issyk
back in the 1960's so this is a pretty recent symbol of the city. It is one you see repeated
throughout the city and up into the mountains.
