Hi All,
Can you guess that Wil had a great day w/ the pumpkin today? She was all about Daddy today and it
was a site for Mommy's eyes...and arms. I don't quite have the baby arm thing yet, so Lia's decision
to let Dad hold her and rock her today was GREAT all the way around. We started in the stroller
which lets us know that she will tolerate one on the trip home. Wil came up w/ a game that he played
w/ Lia yesterday and it got giggles and smiles from her non-stop today. It then came to the point
where she would not shy away from him and was running (or stumbling on her new found sea legs) up
to Daddy and laughing and getting toys from him. Then the moment of truth when he held her and she
was all about getting to know Dad up close and personal...and Mommy was thrilled to see the smiles
in his eyes and on her face! What a day it was for the whole family. I even left to go to the bathroom
for a minute and not a peep or cry from Daddy's little girl. Boy, someone must have filled her in on the
joys of being a daddy's girl. It was truly a beautiful day of magical smiles, laughs, and bonding for all 3
of us as a family. Oh, and for those who figured it out, she got her head shaved today :o( She was not
supposed to have it done, but it sure was cooler for her outside given that it has been HOT and they
must wear hats when outside. She really looks like Daddy now :oP
